For centuries these large, horrible, freak and hideous
creatures have been keeping people in fear. And that fear, being warmed by our rich
imagination, grew into awesome trembling before everything abnormal. And nobody
has ever thought that once all monsters were small and cute and innocent babies.
Just like Baby Ursula that one day will become a sea witch from Disney's animated
feature film “The Little Mermaid”.

Mushu the Guardian
Do you remember what Mulan asked having met Mushu for
the first time? “My ancestors sent a little lizard to help me?” – these were exactly the words the young maiden managed to put forth. And Mushu’s answer was: “Hey!
Dragon. *Dra-gon*, not lizard…” Well, I think he proved his right to be called
a dragon and a guardian as well.

Lucky Cricket
I’d call Cri-Kee
from Disney's film Mulan a small cricket with a great heart. Notwithstanding he's
easily annoyed by his friend Mushu’s schemes and selfish plans Cri-Kee tries to
lead him down the right path and is always ready to assist his companion with
any task, be it defeating the evil Shan Yu or planning Mulan's wedding.

Queen of Hearts
The Queen of Hearts is a monarch alongside her
husband the King of Hearts in the Lewis Carroll’s book “Alice's Adventures in
Wonderland”. Her most famous phrase “Off with their heads!” proves that she has
only one way of settling all difficulties and this is a death sentence.

Today we are invited to the most famous and never-ending Mad Tea Party. And
here’s Mad Hatter – a regular and the maddest guest of the party. Just remember
his attempt to fix White Rabbit’s watch.

I'm late! For a very important date!
- I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date! This short
quote is enough to understand that today’s post is completely dedicated to
an-always-late White Rabbit from Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in
Wonderland. Another distinguishing feature of White Rabbit was a pocket watch
that always showed that he was late :).

Cheshire Cat
Cheshire Cat is one of the
most famous characters of the Lewis Carroll's novel “Alice's Adventures in
Wonderland”. It is widely known for its mischievous grin that remains visible
even when its body disappears. Yes, I’d say that appearing and disappearing is
its favorite pastime especially when these tricks create confusion and
embarrassments.

Sweet Dreams, Honey
This time
Winnie the Pooh from Disney’s celebrated cartoon wishes “Good night” and “Sweet
dreams” to you child.
The pattern
“Sweet Dreams, Honey” is realized in full cross-stitches and it won’t be very
difficult to embroider it, though some experience is recommended due to a
number of colors used and a larger design area.

Rafiki’s Drawing of Simba
Rafiki’s Simba is a very
simple but not less popular stylized lion cub design from Disney's "The Lion King" made by old baboon Rafiki on
his tree house to commemorate Simba’s birth.
The cross-stitch pattern
I’ve created on the basis of this drawing is very simple to realize as well. Rafiki’s
Simba pattern doesn’t need much experience, time and efforts.

Thumper’s Girlfriend
Today I’d like to publish another Disney’s rabbit pattern. Like the previous one “Thumper laughing his head off”, it’s a character from the celebrated cartoon “Bambi”, but this time female. I mean Thumper’s Girlfriend also known as Miss Bunny, a beautiful she-rabbit that makes Thumper fall in love with her and then becomes his wife.Monday, July 15, 2013

Baby Pluto
Thinking about this cartoon character I always remember angel and devil that speak to him while sitting on his shoulder. Guess who is him? - Sure! It’s easy. He is Pluto, Pluto the Pup, Mickey’s pat. Pay attention, please, that Baby Pluto cross-stitch pattern is as easy as pie. But the butterfly he is hunting for is aimed at experienced embroiderers as to realize it one must know not only what is half, quarter and back stitch but also what is petite stitch.
